06 Kling Glöckchen Klingeling - Organisation of a Christmas party for pupils from Halle-Neustadt

Organisation of a Christmas party for pupils from Halle-Neustadt

The success of a person in Germany depends strongly on their socio-demographic background. Children from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds thus have less chance of social and economic advancement. ROCK YOUR LIFE! Halle e. V. is an association founded by students in March 2015 in Halle and supports young people with socially disadvantaged backgrounds in their successful start into their future. For this purpose, ROCK YOUR LIFE! Halle qualifies students as mentors who will individually and continuously supervise at least one lower secondary school or middle school student of our cooperation school in Halle-Neustadt for at least one year and accompany them on their way to work or to a secondary school.

In December the highlight event for our new mentoring couples will take place at the end of the year with the Christmas party. We want to spend an afternoon together and enjoy the Christmas season with our students and mentors as well as organisational members. Unfortunately, some of the pupils who grow up in the problem district of Halle-Neustadt don't have the opportunity to celebrate festive events. Therefore we want to make this possible for them!

For the planning and organization of this year's Christmas party, we are therefore looking for committed students who are allowed to plan and organize the Christmas party exactly according to their ideas. Whether baking cookies or singing Christmas carols together - everything is possible!
