01 Fun actions with the mascots FaKuTa and Polli
Support of our mascots for ill children.
The Hospital St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Halle (Saale) GmbH is a non-profit organization of the Elisabeth Vinzenz Association, which operates eight Catholic hospitals and other health and social care facilities throughout Germany. The St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Hospital is an academic teaching hospital of the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and a center of special care with 630 fully inpatient beds. It has 12 different clinics. Centrally located in Halle, the St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Hospital provides special care for over 63,000 patients annually. We use our competence in the medical, nursing and social fields to treat and care for our patients in the best possible way - so that our patients feel comfortable. The focus of our work is on the patient in all his or her life circumstances.
Every year the Hospital St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Halle (Saale) organizes a large family celebration with a rich entertainment program. Especially the animation for our little guests is important to us. The name for our lovely mascot FaKuTa originated from the "Trommelfloh-Familienkulturtag" (Drum-Flea Family-Culture-Day). The Hospital St. Elisabeth and St. Barbara Halle (Saale) is also active in the protection of bees and produces its own honey. From this developed the idea for our second mascot, the bee Polli. Now FaKuTa and his friend Polli are called into action to be actively used to create joy and have fun with the little patients on our different hospital wards. Beside they will also represent the hospital internally and externally. The focus is on conveying child-friendly messages in paediatrics (child and youth medicine).
